The Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF) at Tamil Methodist Church Borivali is an active group open to all youths. We focus on a balance of worship, service, recreation, and fellowship among teen age groups and unmarried adults.
The purpose of Young People’s Ministries is to empower young people as world-changing disciples of Jesus Christ, to nurture faith development, and to equip young leaders by developing youth/young adults in becoming spiritual leaders within our local congregation to transform lives by making disciples of Jesus Christ.
The Methodist Tamil Church Borivali to embrace, confirm, and celebrate God’s call on the lives of young people, cultivating and nurturing life-giving ministries where influence and worth are not limited by age or experience, advocating for the issues and concerns of young people in the church and the global community, empowering young people to work as messenger’s peace, justice, and mercy and building a network of support and providing resources that connect the diverse experiences of youth and young adults in local ministries and communities across the globe.
The Methodist Youth Fellowship is a group of vibrant young people. If you are between the age of 17 – 30 years and are looking for a group of young people who love the Lord, to fellowship with and grow in the Lord, come and join us! We’d love to have you! We meet every Sunday after our church service for a time of Worship, learning from the Word, Prayer, and Fellowship. Contemporary issues faced by youngsters are addressed in the light of God’s word.
To provide a means of fellowship within The Methodist Tamil Church Borivali suitable to the needs of the young people.
To help young people to come to a personal faith in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Savior and provide opportunities to study, discuss and pray about their growing faith in Him.
To deepen members’ understanding of the Christian faith and its application to personal and social life.
To encourage members to render practical services for and on behalf of The Methodist Tamil Church Borivali.
To help young people to appreciate the unity of the Church in its diversity and to promote the sense of belonging to a Christian World.
